Best alarm We've ever owned. Period. "We tried loud alarms, putting his phone across the room, and even those apps that make you solve puzzles. He'd either sleep right through them or turn them off half-asleep. The Ryze Band has been completely different. The vibration on his wrist actually gets him up without waking the whole house. Four months in, and mornings are finally way less stressful."
Marius T.
Waking him up doesn't ruin our morning anymore. "I never realized how much his alarm was setting the tone for our entire morning. He'd wake up irritated, and I'd already be stressed from trying to get him out of bed. The vibration is completely different — he wakes up calmer and actually gets moving on his own. It sounds small, but it changed our mornings completely."
Karen W.
Bought one. Then bought three more as gifts.
"Got one for my daughter because nothing else could get her out of bed on time. It worked so well I ended up buying one for my son, my nephew, and one of my daughter's friends. Mornings are quieter, calmer, and way less stressful now. Easily one of the best things I've bought for them."
Mike P.
Finally a morning person (sort of)
"My daughter has never been a morning person, and honestly, we had just accepted it. But she still needs to get up for school, and the alarm battle every morning was exhausting. This band doesn't make her love mornings — but it makes them painless. She gets up on time without me having to constantly wake her. That's all we needed."
Sarah M.
No more chaos at 6 AM
"My son used to set three alarms and still barely get out of bed for school. The noise, the snoozing, the stress — our mornings were chaos before the day even started. First week with the Ryze Band, he was up before the vibration even finished escalating. Calm. Quiet. I honestly thought something was wrong because there was no alarm blaring."
David L.
I can finally sleep through my daughter's alarm. "My daughter gets up at 5 AM for school and practice, while the rest of us don't need to be up for another couple of hours. For years, her alarm was basically everyone's alarm. She'd snooze through it while the whole house woke up. Now she wears the Ryze Band and wakes up quietly on her own. I sleep through the whole thing — I didn't realize how much calmer our mornings could be."
WHO'S THIS FOR
Created to support independent wake-ups for teens whose bodies don’t respond well to sound-based alarms.
The Ryze Wake Up Band is designed for:
- Teens who sleep through alarms
- Kids with sleep inertia, ADHD, or delayed circadian rhythms
- Parents tired of morning battles
- Teens who need independence without stress
WHY RYZE BANDS
Ryze was created to solve a problem most alarms ignore: some teens aren’t choosing to sleep — their bodies are stuck in deep sleep. Louder alarms and repeated wake-ups don’t help because sound is often filtered out during sleep inertia, which is why mornings escalate and parents get pulled into the fight.
Ryze Bands work differently. Instead of sound, they use gentle, escalating physical signals delivered through the wrist — a signal the nervous system can register when ears can’t. There’s no shock, no pain, and no sudden jolt — just a calm, persistent wake-up that works with biology instead of against it.
Most importantly, Ryze removes the parent from the wake-up process. The band becomes a neutral third party, ending yelling, touching, and escalation. For many families, that alone is what finally changes the morning.
Our goal isn’t to “fix” teens or enforce discipline. It’s to restore peace, independence, and safety to mornings — even if it starts with just one calm day.
HOW IT WORKS
Most wake-up products assume the same thing: if you make enough noise, the brain will respond.
For many teens, that simply isn’t true.
During adolescence, the body’s sleep cycles shift. When a teen is in deep sleep or sleep inertia, the brain can filter out sound entirely. That’s why alarms go unheard, louder alarms don’t help, and repeated wake-ups only escalate tension.
Ryze was designed for that moment.
Instead of trying to wake the ears, Ryze delivers a physical wake-up signal through the wrist — a channel the nervous system can register even when sound can’t. The signal starts gently and builds gradually, allowing the body to transition out of sleep without panic or shock.
There’s no sudden jolt. No pain. No forcing.
Just a steady signal that works with the body’s biology.
It's Not Laziness. It's Neurology.
The teenage brain doesn't just "sleep in." It's trapped in a cycle most people — including doctors — never explain.
They Can't Fall Asleep
Their brain gets wired before bed, even without screens. Sleep doesn't come until 1-2 AM. Their alarm is 4 hours away.
They Can't Hear the Alarm
Their brain filters sound during deep sleep. Louder alarms don't help — their brain just filters harder.
They're a Genius When Asleep
Teenage brains in semi-sleep can solve puzzles, uninstall apps, and navigate rooms — all to protect sleep. That genius works against every alarm you set.

You're Not the Problem. Mornings Are.
During deep sleep, teens don’t ignore alarms — their nervous system filters sound, making parents step in and conflict escalate.
Your child isn’t lazy — their body is still asleep
Louder alarms don't reach deep sleep
Parental wake-ups often trigger fear, anger, or shutdown
Ryze removes parents from the wake-up loop by delivering a gentle physical signal the body can register — without noise or confrontation.
How it Works
Step 1:
Put on the wake-up band before bed.
The Ryze wake-up band is a one-size-fits-all premium silicone band. Lightweight and flexible — most users forget they're wearing it by the second night.
Step 2:
Set your ideal wake-up time.
Two buttons. No app. No phone connection. Set your time in seconds and you're done. The band handles the rest.
Step 3:
Sleep however you need to.
Whether you fall asleep at 10 PM or 2 AM, the band works the same. That's freedom, not a flaw. No judgment. No rules about bedtime. Just a reliable wake-up whenever you need it.
Step 4:
Gentle vibration escalates until you wake.
During deep sleep, your brain filters out sound. That's why you sleep through alarms. Vibration on your wrist uses a different pathway — one your sleeping brain can't block. It starts gentle, then builds until you're actually conscious.
Step 5:
Wake up calm. Start your day right.
No jolting awake. No frantically checking the time. No adrenaline spike before your feet even hit the floor. Just a calm transition to consciousness — the way waking up should feel.

Real Teens. Real Mornings.
Trusted by over 50,000 teens nationwide.
At first I thought it wouldn’t wake me up but it actually does, every morning. And somehow it doesn’t wake my parents either. Kinda surprised how well it works.
Michael R.
It great! Don't have to depend on my mom to wake me up.
Rose H.
Started waking up at 5am to hit the gym because of this. Never thought I’d actually become a morning person.
Alex J.
Set two alarms, one for waking up and one to remind me to stop scrolling and go work out lol.
Laura S.
The product feels premium. The strap is soft and adjustable and It’s also easy to set up, takes like five seconds. I like that it charges directly with USB, so I don’t need to carry cables around. The vibration is just right, strong enough to wake you and not annoying. I’ve already recommended it to my sister.

Frequently Asked Questions
That’s exactly who Ryze was designed for.
Many teens don’t wake up because their brain is still deep in sleep — not because they’re ignoring alarms. Sound-based alarms are often filtered out during these sleep stages.
Ryze uses a gentle but persistent physical signal that the nervous system can register when sound can’t. For many families, it’s the first thing that works without yelling, shaking, or repeated check-ins.
The vibration is strong enough to wake deep sleepers, but designed to feel calm, not jarring.
It starts soft and gradually increases over about a minute. This gives your body time to transition out of sleep naturally instead of triggering a fight-or-flight response. Most users describe it as firm but gentle.
It’s intentionally different from sudden, jarring alarms — effective without being aggressive.
No, not exactly.
Smartwatches use small notification motors meant for daytime alerts. Dawn uses a purpose-built wake-up motor, designed specifically to reach sleepers during deep sleep stages.
Many people who have tried Apple Watch, Fitbit, or other wearables found those vibrations were simply too weak to work consistently.
That concern is very common — and understandable.
Ryze is lightweight and comfortable enough to wear overnight, which makes resistance much lower than with loud alarms or bed shakers. We also provide guidance for introducing it calmly, without turning it into another power struggle.
And if it truly doesn’t work for your family, you’re covered by our 60-day risk-free trial.
Yes. Built-in USB charging. A single charge lasts 14+ days.
The battery typically lasts up to two weeks on a single charge, depending on usage.
For comparison, an Apple Watch needs charging every 1-2 days. There’s no nightly maintenance or setup to worry about.

Very Good 4.7/5
My son has ADHD and I was going into his room 4–5 times every morning. With this band he sets his own alarm, puts it on before bed, and walks out ready. Didn't think something so simple could fix something so exhausting.

My son wore it to a sleepover and it worked there too. He was nervous about oversleeping at his friends house. Problem solved.

My 15-year-old daughter has always been impossible to wake up. We tried every alarm app, every clock. This is the first thing she's actually responded to — and she likes wearing it, which I did not expect.

Waking up used to be the worst part of his day — and mine. Now he comes out on his own, calm, in a decent mood. I don't stand in the hallway yelling anymore. That alone is worth the price.

Loud alarms were genuinely distressing for her... she'd wake up already overwhelmed. The vibration is firm enough to do the job without the shock. Mornings are so much calmer now and she actually asks to put it on before bed.

Got this instead of the $200 pavlok thing. Same concept, fraction of the price. Works just as well.
This completely changed the tone of our mornings. Instead of yelling and panicking, he wakes up calmer — and I don't have to be the one dragging him out of bed anymore. My husband said it's the first time mornings haven't felt like a crisis in years.
I'm one of those legendary deep sleepers that can't wake up at all, and if I do I subconsciously turn off all my other alarms... my friend recommended the Ryze Band to me and the ease it sets in truly helps, with the peace of mind that I'll be able to wake up on time.
This has saved me from multiple late wake ups! I use a hearing aid in 1 ear and no hearing out of the other. I could not hear my alarm, and it was so aggravating until I found this vibrating alarm!
These Ryze bands are really great. My roommate and I use them so we don't wake each other up. They also fit very comfortably, after a few days, I barely noticed I was wearing it.
The product feels kinda premium. The strap is soft and adjustable and It’s also easy to set up, takes like five seconds. I really love it!! It is the best thing I ever had! Normally I don’t wear watches. It is very comfortable and it does alert me in early morning without waking up my spouse. Highly recommended!!
I’ve been using it about a month or 2 and I’ll say the simple yet stylish design is exactly why I’m glad I made this purchase let alone performance the vibrations aren’t aren’t nor scare me awake which were things I was mainly worried about but it’s perfect.
This is a cheap knockoff. I paid $50 expecting to get a Rise Band. This is a dupe Ryze band. Save your money and order a dupe off of Amazon for $20 instead. Shipping took very long. The directions are not clear. I submitted a request for a return and have heard nothing from the company. Awful customer service.
